Wibbly Wobbly
Facts: These are magic words featured in performances by Zappo the Magician.
In the Summer of 2004, Irish candy maker Chivers Jelly launched
"a promotion for all budding young magicians, where children get a chance
to win a day at the Chivers Jelly Wibbly Wobbly Magic School. Three lucky
winners and their guardians will be whisked off by helicopter to the Chivers
Jelly Magic Castle in a mystery location in Ireland. Mr. Jolly, one of Ireland's
most talented and entertaining magicians, will be there to meet the young
magicians and will intrigue them with his tricks and illusions."4
Common Magician's Applications: Triggering. For example: "As the
children helped with the magic words 'Wibbly Wobbly,' balls multiplied and
then joined together, separate coloured silk handkerchiefs melded into a
multicoloured silk scarf and Zappo's uncontrollable wand tried to stick itself
into his ears and up his nose much to everyone's amusement."
Wiggle Your Fingers, Wiggle Your Thumbs,
That's the Way the Magic Comes
Facts: This is a traditional magic phrase used by magician and storyteller
Uncle Michael.
