Facts: "In the Middle Ages, agla was one of the names of God used in exorcisms, healing magic, and divination."116 Agla is actually an acronym, made up of the initials of the sentence Atah gebur le-olahm Adonai, meaning "Thine is the power throughout endless ages, O Lord."117 Agla is a magic word for conjuring Sylphs in The Queen Pedauque (189 ) by Anatole France.
